The ultimate male weekend is underway for members of the New England Patriots as they take in Saturday’s Kentucky Derby (and based off of reports, will possibly conclude later in Las Vegas as Tom Brady is expected to attend tonight’s Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao superfight).

It’s evident that Rob Gronkowski is enjoying the festivities alongside Brady, Julian Edelman, and Danny Amendola at Churchill Downs. Gronkowski rocked a plaid suit and green tie while in attendance at Saturday’s race.

Gronk’s clothes choice is far less embarrassing than the pink pants of Wes Welker.

Good job, Gronk.

Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski combined to sing in a new spot for Dunkin’ Donuts called “Sippin’.”

The results are…welp, they are something.

Gronkowski has been all over the place since New England won Super Bowl XLIX including an upcoming taping of Family Feud and making a cameo in Entourage, which debuted in theaters last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Ortiz is a living legend while leading the Red Sox to three World Series victories since 2004.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski’s free time has greatly decreased since the beginning of training camp. Yet, he is still managing to get his name out there in other projects.

Gronkowski’s new SportsCenter commercial began its run on Monday. The Super Bowl XLIX champion is shown displaying his new ring to a collection of SportsCenter anchors.

As folks are known to do when a friend gets engaged, the trio fawns over Gronk’s ring and then, talk smack about the gaudy ring upon his departure from the frame.

By the way, congratulations to ESPN for creating a spot involving the Patriots that does not include any Deflategate jokes. Well done!

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. revealed some very disturbing but unsurprising strategy on how to bring down massive New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Harris, who will be battling a shoulder injury heading into Sunday’s game told Business Insider that the strategy to take down Gronkowski was pretty simple:

“You gotta hit him low, man — hit him in his knees,” Harris said. “That’s the best chance you have of hitting him.”

Harris went on to say that Gronk couldn’t be brought down by just one player — unless that player took out his legs.

“You gotta take his legs out or hold on and wait for everybody, wait for the gang to come on and gang tackle him,” Harris added.

Now, I’m going to guess the first time Gronk gets popped in the knees on Sunday that it will not result in a penalty because you know, Patriots.

Back on Thanksgiving weekend, a low hit by the Broncos nearly ended Gronkowski’s season.

During the offseason, The Shield may need to take a look at this. It’s incredibly dumb for a league to love scoring but yet not penalize low hits to receivers.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and many other citizens are on something called the Gronk Party Ship sailing from Miami to the Bahamas this weekend.

To say that Gronkowski is already having a good time, would be the understatement of a lifetime. When he wasn’t wearing glow-in-the-dark clothes or dancing with Flo Rida, Gronk took time out to connect with the fans. And by connect with the fans, I mean grind with them.

Gronkowski, who is flanked by his family this weekend for the event, was also joined by the likes of rapper Waka Flocka Flame and by Mojo Rawley of WWE NXT fame.

God bless those who are participating and their livers, it’s going to be a rough ride over the next couple of days.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski recently did an interview with Cageside Seats, a wrestling blog, to promote a new Nickelodeon show called Crashletes.

Most of the interview centered around Gronkowski’s friendship with WWE NXT star Mojo Rawley.

However, one question focused on who held the distinction of being Gronkowski’s favorite all-time wrestler.

Gronkowski answered Val Venis as his favorite wrestler ever. There have been thousands upon thousands upon thousands of professional wrestlers.

Of course, Gronkowski is drawn to the dude that is modeled after being a male adult film star.

For the unaware, Venis wrestled with the WWE from 1998 to 2009. His gimmick as a porn star drew positive reactions from fans and fit right in with the WWE’s famous “Attitude Era” from ’98 to ’02.

If you remember, Gronkowski took a photo with pornstar Bibi Jones a few years ago, while she sported a Gronk jersey.

Somehow, Gronk’s preference in wrestlers all makes perfect sense.

Actually, I’m not sure Gronkowski is in rhythm with the famous Beatles song Helter Skelter as he played air guitar. However, who can blame him? He is used to dancing to LMFAO and Pitbull all the time.

Rob Gronkowski celebrated the release of Madden NFL 17 and being its cover athlete by releasing a poolside video on Tuesday to express his gratitude.

As the video winded down, Gronkowski took time to congratulate the Olympians that brought home the gold for Team USA.

However, he did take some time to congratulate another Olympic hero. Sprinter Usain Bolt was photographed while making out with a woman at an undisclosed location.

Gronk took time out of his day to congratulate Bolt on his “makeout game” and encouraged him to keep up the good work.

He seemed to be far more impressed with Bolt’s accomplishments than being on the cover of Madden.

It’s clear that Gronk is the player sent from the heavens to completely level off the quiet and reserved nature of most Patriots.

By the way, one of the low key best parts of this video is Snoop and Dr. Dre playing in the background as Gronk is addressing the masses.

Oft-injured New England Patriots tight end/party boy Rob Gronkowski made news by appearing at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday and getting physical.

Gronkowski played a role in the finish of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which was eventually won by his friend Mojo Rawley.

Prior to the match’s conclusion, wrestler Jinder Mahal (or Hardbody Mahal as he is known in some social media circles) tossed a drink at Gronk while competing in the battle royal.

Gronk hopped the guardrail, went into the ring, and threw a massive shoulder block on Mahal, who was soon after eliminated by Rawley.

Moments after Gronkowski’s ring debut, I immediately ran to my phone waiting to see a text that read:

BREAKING: PATRIOTS SUE AND RELEASE ROB GRONKOWSKI FOR UNAUTHORIZED INVOLVEMENT AT WRESTLEMANIA.

However, that message never actually materialized and according to Pro Football Talk, we know why:

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski obtained permission from the team before climbing into the ring, assuming a three-point stance, and blasting a fake-sport participants with a very real shoulder blow at WrestleMania 33.

Surprisingly, the Patriots reportedly granted permission to Gronkowski, who missed the final month of the regular season and the entire New England Super Bowl run with a back injury.

Of course, there is no way Bill Belichick will engage reporters in a discussion about this once mini-camps roll around later on this spring.

The best news out of Gronkowski’s foray at WrestleMania is he appears to be healthy and fully recovered from his back injury.

Here’s the thing.

I don’t wildly dislike LaVar Ball as much as some people do. He definitely isn’t for everyone but I actually believe he can bring a productive heel-like quality to the NBA, if that makes any shred of sense.

However, one of his recent statements is just plain dumb.

Ball told ESPN in a recent interview that he was actually a better tight end than New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

“Gronkowski can’t hang with me back in my heyday,” said Ball when he chatted on ESPN Radio’s The Really Big Show.

To my knowledge, the only place you can find NFL game film on Ball is if you actually created him in Madden at some point.

Otherwise, you’re out of luck.

Anyone who says they can beat Michael Jordan in 1-on-1 probably isn’t a credible source in the first place.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took time off from his “I may or may not retire” campaign to spend with some time with celebrities in Miami.

Shaquille O’Neal and Denver Broncos defensive end Von Miller appeared with Gronk at Ultra Weekend in Miami on Friday. While there, a shirtless Gronk opted to go crazy onstage with Miller and Shaq.

Gronk and Shaq proceeded to have something that resembled a dance off on stage. In the moments after a Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Gronkowski was evasive about questions regarding a rumored retirement.

Based off of previous Gronk outings, nothing here adds to or diminishes those rumors. It just proves no matter what happens on the field, Gronk is going to Gronk.

Last Friday, rumors circulated that the New England Patriots were set to trade all-world tight end Rob Gronkowski to the Tennessee Titans or San Francisco 49ers until Tom Brady caught wind of it, complained to owner Robert Kraft, and had the deal nixed.

I’m here to say that report is erroneous. How do I know that? Simple. Detective work.

First, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and girlfriend Linda Holliday spent the weekend on the road in New York for the Belmont Stakes. As a part of the festivities, Belichick ran up a $60 hotel room service bill on blueberry pancakes and coffee, according to the New York Post.

If he dealt Gronk, do you think he’d quibble with such things like eating blueberry pancakes? They are delicious but Belichick’s football first mentality would have taken over at that point.

Elsewhere, Camille Kostek, Gronkowski’s girlfriend, was in attendance at the race as well with the future Hall of Fame tight end. On hand to support his bearing his name, Gronkowski, Belichick, and their significant others seemed to get along just fine.

Kostek commented on Holliday’s photo with Belichick and said, “SO happy to see you guys!! You looked beautiful as always.” Meanwhile, Belichick and Gronkowski were reportedly quite chummy.

Perhaps one unexpected attendee was New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick (in shorts) since he sometimes appears he’d rather take a flight to Siberia than attend a Super Bowl beach party.

Yet, Belichick and girlfriend Linda Holliday attended the event and in turn, gave us one of the great photos of Super Bowl week.

Incredibly, the above photo features Gronkowski, his girlfriend Camille Kostek, Belichick, Holliday…and Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and MoJo Rawley of WWE fame.

Of course, Gronkowski made a cameo appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal during WrestleMania 33 in Orlando to help Rawley grab a win.

Meanwhile, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who are married, are New England area residents and well versed in the Patriots since they’ve sent a championship belt or two in recent years due to their Super Bowl victories.

I’m not sure Belichick knows the WWE folks in the photo but I would pay top dollar to find out what their conversation was with him. I imagine it was gold.

Well, it appears former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is far closer to stepping into a wrestling ring than running on the field to play football again.

During WWE Backstage on FS1 on Tuesday night, Ryan Satin reported that Gronkowski is close to signing a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Satin’s report states Gronkowski could appear on WWE programming as soon as the March 20th edition of SmackDown.

Gronk last appeared in a WWE ring during WrestleMania 33’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. During the match, Gronkowski helped long-time friend Mojo Rawley win the match and added an assist with a shoulder block to Jinder Mahal, who was promptly eliminated by Rawley.

Of course, after the Super Bowl in Miami last month, this picture has far more meaning if Gronkowski ends up hopping into WWE.

While the former All-Pro tight end has stated he doesn’t see himself having a lengthy wrestling career, it appears his days of catching passes from Tom Brady – or any other quarterback for that matter – are over.

As a wrestling fan, I’d like to Gronkowski against The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, or Roman Reigns. However, that probably will not happen.

Rob Gronkowski against some iteration of King Baron Corbin seems a far more plausible play at next year’s WrestleMania in Los Angeles. Corbin played in the NFL as an offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals under his real name – Thomas Pestock.
